Princess Diana’s Niece Just Landed a Bulgari Campaign

Fashion's newest muse has some serious royal ties.

At this month’s wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, we got to see plenty recognizable faces walk into the chapel thanks to Markle’s Hollywood past. However, when the world saw a tall blonde with a recognizable gaze in a hand-painted Dolce & Gabbana gown, all eyes immediately turned to her.

Who was this stunning English rose? Lady Kitty Spencer. Yes, Spencer as in the former Lady Diana Spencer. The 27-year-old’s father, Charles Spencer, is Diana’s younger brother making Prince Harry and Prince William her cousins and the late Princess of Wales her aunt. There’s been a flurry of interest as to Lady Kitty’s pedigreed origins post royal nuptials, but it turns out the fashion world has had their eye on her for quite some time. She made her runway debut last fall for Dolce & Gabbana, and again during Milan Fashion Week in 2018. Her influence over fashion’s elite has continued to grow: this week, Lady Kitty Spencer was announced as Italian jewellery brand Bulgari’s newest ambassador.

Both partnerships with these luxury Italian labels aren’t a total surprise, since she was wearing both brands at the royal wedding, along with a green Philip Treacy fascinator. “It is an immense honour to be working with the most iconic Italian jewellery brand in the world,” said Spencer to Harper’s Bazaar, “Bulgari has always been synonymous with creativity, heritage, beauty and glamour. I am, therefore, very excited to be part of the Bulgari family, as it means experiencing their passion and magic first-hand.” Though this ambassador announcement makes the partnership between Bulgari and Spencer official, this isn’t the first time that the aristocrat has worked with the brand. Last year, Spencer modelled the brand’s Divas’ Dream diamond necklace that was auctioned off for the Elton John Aids Foundation, going for £140,000.

With fashion muse and it-girl material coursing through her blood, this won’t be the last time we hear about Lady Kitty Spencer in the fashion world. Her Instagram page full of glamorous shots of her in the most recent fashion suggest that she could take the crown as fashion’s new go-to gal.
