Spring/Summer 2016 Toronto Fashion Week Awards

Hoards of Toronto’s fashion elite donned their finest sartorial garb and descended upon the expansive trading floor of the Design Exchange for last Friday’s installment of FASHION’s Toronto Fashion Week Awards. In celebration of the design talent and fashion professionals whose tireless efforts make Toronto Fashion Week possible, the crowd was in a decidedly celebratory mood for the closing bash of the week. Notables who walked the Links of London red carpet (the brand celebrates its 25th anniversary this fall) included actress Elisha Cuthbert Phaneuf, model Paul Mason, Greta Constantine’s Stephen Wong and Kirk Pickersgill, E!’s Chloe Wilde, musical icon Taylor Dayne and many more. But the photo opps didn’t end there – party goers fell in love with NeoStrata’s selfie mirror where guests showed off their best outfits of the week and of course their glowing skin (no thanks to the NeoStrata Brightening Serum each guest scored in the gift bag).
After the Award-winners took home their statues for best of the week (complete list of winners below), rising star Kai wowed the audience with her impressive pipes and ability to command a room full of festive partygoers.
As guests sipped ice-cold Peroni beer and salt-rimmed Skinnygirl margaritas, VIPs enjoyed the red and white wine offerings from the Apothic Dark Designer Lounge. Beretta Farms served up tasty fare such as barbacoa beef tacos and duck confit-stuffed heirloom beets, and Flow water and bottlegreen sparkling presse were on hand as nonalcoholic beverage offerings.
Many thanks to Bliss Events for ensuring the evening was executed flawlessly, Avenue for providing the expertly curated DJ set and Everleigh for keeping the party going well into the evening.
