There are few better ways to spend a crisp November evening than draped in furs—just ask anyone who scored an invite to the opening of Harry PapadopoulosHerman Sellers Gough Furs’ #HSGxFASHION pop-up shop. The evening presented Toronto’s most fashionable with the perfect excuse to play dress up in both new and vintage pieces.

Located in Yorkville, the HSG pop-up proves that fur can be far more fabulous than your grandmother’s dated, dust-covered coat. To promote the mantra “restyle, rewear, renew, rethink,” guests seized the opportunity to bring in vintage furs for a personal consultation on how to give old pieces a redesign for the coming season. Since 1880, HSG Furs has dominated the winter outerwear industry in Canada with a vast collection of fur pieces that always draw a crowd, especially around the holidays.

When not trying on a selection of HSG’s finest, guests mingled over champagne and sustainable cultured caviar from Caviarum Royal Beluga while posing for the photo booth. The store’s opening brought out FASHION Magazine’s Editor-In-Chief, Bernadette Morra; Greta Constantine’s Kirk Pickersgill; columnist Shinan Govani; Toronto fashion girl, Ainsley Kerr, PR queen Mary Symons and St. Joseph Communications SVP, Lilia Lozinski.

The HSG Furs pop-up shop will be open until February 28, 2016; be sure to stop by at 1255 Bay Street in Toronto’s Yorkville neighbourhood.
