The Most Captivating Beauty Looks From This Year’s Golden Globes

While more subtle than some of her other red carpet choices (the meat dress, anyone?) this look still manages to make a bold statement. Her baby blue hair (courtesy of hairstylist Frederic Aspiras) and silvery smokey eye pair perfectly with her icy blue Valentino gown.

Thandie Newton channels Diana Ross with this 70s-inspired hairdo, thanks to DevaCurl’s SuperCream and Super Stretch Coconut Curl Elongator. Her metallic smokey eye was created using Chantecaille shadows in Smokey Topaz and Celestite.

From Sing Street to Bohemian Rhapsody, Lucy Boynton has served up some incredible on-screen beauty looks and her red carpet makeup last night (which involved an edgy double-winged liner technique) was just as impressive. Jo Baker, the makeup artist behind the look, cited icons like Jerry Hall and Bianca Jagger as inspiration for the 70s look.

Camilla Belle easily had one of the most dramatic looks of the night, opting for a vibrant smokey green eye and slicked back hair. Makeup artist Hung Vanngo created the editorial look.

Lili Reinhart was another to add a burst of colour to her look. The Riverdale actress rocked striking red eyeshadow from Pat McGrath Labs that matched her chiffon gown.

Sandra Oh’s red carpet look is pure Hollywood glamour, from the softly curled waves by hairstylist Ted Gibson, to the muted red lip.

Lupita Nyong’o consistently treats us to incredible beauty looks and this red carpet event was no different. Makeup artist, Nick Barose used an electric blue liner (Lancôme Drama Liqui-Pencil in Côte d’Azur) and colourful falsies by Lashify to create the stand-out look.

Sofia Carson looks the perfect combination of elegance and cool with this sleek up-do.

Pink and red-toned eyeshadows can be hard to pull off, but Saoirse Ronan does an amazing job with this look. The perky watermelon shade looks great contrasted against her emerald statement earrings.

Rachel Weisz opted for elegant side waves, beautiful brows and a soft purple/pink lip.

Janelle Monae seemed to radiate on the red carpet. Celebrity makeup artist Jessica Smalls used products by Giorgio Armani Beauty to create a glowing complexion, warm smokey eyes and the perfect nude lip.

Claire Foy kept her eyes simple but chose a muted magenta for the lips. Her hair was swept back to reveal dangling diamond earrings.
