Zendaya Doing Her Mom’s Makeup is the Cutest Thing You’ll See Today

While most people were dedicating their Valentine’s Day social media posts to their significant others, Zendaya decided to pay tribute to another very special person in her life: her mom.

On Tuesday, the 20-year-old triple threat took to Instagram to share a sneak peek of a video posted on her official app/website where she does her mother, Claire Stoermer’s, makeup.

“It’s fun to do your mom’s makeup sometimes!" she tells the audience, before turning to her mom to say, “Even though you don’t need anything because you’re absolutely stunning at all times!"

The Instagram clip sees the makeup-free songstress plucking her mama’s eyebrows, with Claire saying, “Oh, you’ve gotten better.” A few plucks later, however, and Stoermer was screaming “Ow!" proving that beauty truly is pain sometimes.

The former Disney star continues on, applying powder that’s a “skosh warmer” than her mother.

“Where exactly did you get that word?" Claire asks, to which her daughter replies, “Probably from you. It’s a very Caucasian word.”

“Well, you didn’t get it from this Caucasian,” her mom responds sassily.

Fast-forward to the finished look, and Mama Zendaya is ready for the red carpet, sporting a dramatically-lined eye, subtly bronzed skin and light pink lip gloss. “Thanks for beating my face and pinching my skin!,” she tells her daughter. Like we said: beauty is pain.
