Whatever your plans are for Valentine’s Day, a romantic makeup look should definitely be on the schedule. For a day that’s equal parts whimsical fun and sexy fantasy, there are so many ways to express yourself. Sure, a bright shade of red lipstick or a smouldering smoky eye is an excellent way to stand out on Valentine’s Day, but why not be a little bit more adventurous? We’ve dreamed up two Valentine’s Day makeup looks that would be perfect for your hot date, girls’ night out, or anything else you’ve got planned on February 14th.

Since Valentine’s Day is all about about getting steamy during the coldest part of the year, we thought it would be fun to play with a temperature theme and create two looks that are inspired by warmth and cold. Our “Hot” look uses gorgeous warm tones of bronze, orange and peach, while the “Cool” look plays with icy shades of grey and pastel blue-pink. The best part? Both looks are neutral enough that they will look beautiful on any skin tone. Read on to see how easy it is to recreate both of these Valentine’s Day makeup looks with our step-by-step tutorials.
