You guys. Urban Decay‘s co-founder Wende Zomnir just gave us the best news we’ll hear all day --- the brand’s latest addition to the Naked Palette family is here. Naked Ultimate Basics features 12 neutral shades that are all---this is the best part---totally matte.

It all started on the weekend when the brand posted a photo on Instagram of a model wearing a gorgeous smoky eye, with the caption “You asked for it...” Cryptic, right? Well, luckily, the surprise did not disappoint.

“We loaded Naked Ultimate Basics with 12 ALL-NEW must-have neutrals, from cool to warm—all with a little edge that makes them Naked,” said Zomnir. And at $55 for 12 shades plus a double-ended brush, the palette is totally worth shelling out some dollars for.

With matte makeup totally eclipsing gloss and shimmer-loaded products, this palette couldn’t come at a better time. Don’t you just love it when brands actually listen to their fans’ needs?
