We get it---trimming your eyebrows at home sounds scary, but it actually isn’t that hard. But the fact of the matter is, if you have super-long brow hairs that aren’t trimmed, they can look unkempt and are much harder to shape and fill, let alone brush up with brow gel. The key is to just start slowly and to use a spoolie or an eyelash comb to help guide you, and a pair of curved nail scissors to do the actual trimming. If you’re more experienced (or just very brave), you can try doing it freehand.
When trimming, you’ll want to ensure you comb the hair in the direction it grows, and cut any hairs that extend beyond the natural shape of your brows. And always remember to cut on a straight angle, using the natural shape of your brow as a guide.
