Time-saving hair products mean more sleep – I’m in

Large hair should never resemble a triangle—flat on top, puffy on the bottom—but mine does. And while taking 40 minutes to straighten it is an option, I’d prefer the sleep. Lucky me: LaCoupe will be releasing a line of hair products this August that should take care of my triangular coif and give it that oomph it needs.

Enhanced with shine-boosting silk amino acids, lightweight silicones, panthenol and a UV filter, the LaCoupe Volume Flexible Fix Finishing Spray ($8, at drugstores this August) revitalized the flip in my bangs, and I’m already scheming my Alexander Wang-esque side braid. Its fruity smell is a nice alternative to ubiquitous alcohol-reeking spray, and is a pleasant reminder that this collection is made from eco-friendly materials, free of parabens and formaldehyde.

LaCoupe’s other line, Orgnx, is already on the shelves, taking its loyalty to the planet one step further by donating a portion of its profits to help charitable organization Trees for the Future plant Moringa trees in Africa. Try the Orgnx Revive Moringa Oil Complex to remove frizz (it contains natural Moringa, olive, argan and babassu oils), or the Refresh Instant Hair Reviver (both $10, at drugstores this September) to rejuvenate unwashed hair for that extra lazy no-shampoo day. And we all know what that means: more sleep.
