For fall, Line sent out their signature knits on what co-designer Jennifer Wells described as European settlers from the 1930s. With each model wearing a skull cap and/or headband, the hair was intended to look “wavy and distressed, not too perfect, like they’ve been traveling,” she explained. To that end, lead hair artist Eric del Monaco created bend in the hair using a similar technique he used at Joe Fresh earlier in the week: wrapping sections with a large barrel curling iron from midway down the shaft. A dab of Studio Line Mineral FX Modeling Gel-Cream was then rubbed to give it a slightly weathered look.

To complement the sexy settlers, lead makeup artist Eddie Malter shaded eyes in a combo of brown and beige and gave cheeks a sweep of blush. But the real standout was the deep yet glossy mouth, a result achieved using burgundy lip liner as a base, topped with Infallible Le Rouge in “Java Jolt” blended with “Persistent Plum”.  The final touch on hands was courtesy of Leeanne Colley and her Tips Nail Bar team: OPI’s “Lincoln Park After Dark” contrasted with a V-shape in “Bubble Bath” cured with a UV gel top coat “to give a super shine, almost patent look to the nail,” said Colley.  Of the luxurious lips and nails, Wells said “She’s an immigrant but she’s still fabulous.”
