Sofia Vergara ditches her brunette style and goes blonde for the summer
As the fiery Latina bombshell on Modern Family, Sofia Vergara is perhaps best known for her voluptuous shape and her famous dark hair. However, in what may be a surprising beauty choice, Vergara has recently dyed her hair blonde. Debuting her new look yesterday, Vergara has adopted a warm honey colour and some light layers for summer.
The actress shared a picture of her new style with her followers on Instagram on Tuesday saying “Blond ambitions!! Gracias to the amazing Kelly [Kline]. I’m ready for summer!"
While Vergara’s fans may not be accustomed to seeing her with light hair, she is actually a natural blonde. She didn’t adopt her signature brunette hair until after she began auditioning in L.A. While she has mentioned in previous interviews that blonde hair makes her look like a “big-mouth version of Pamela Anderson,” Vergara’s new style is a nice change without going too extreme. It also seems to be perfect timing as Modern Family takes a break from filming during the summer.
