Ryan Seacrest is looking to expand beyond TV and radio and get in the medicine cabinets of dudes.
In June, he’ll be launching a men’s skincare line with Dr. Harold Lancer (yes, the Kardashian and Beyoncé approved dermatologist) called Polished by Dr. Lancer. The products, according to the line’s new Instagram account, are for “the man looking to better himself in every way,” and will include three core products: a daily micro-scrub, a dual cleanse and shave cream and an oil-free moisturizer with SPF 30, WWD reports. There will also be an anti-aging serum and a daily lip-care SPF 15 sunscreen.
Seacrest, first announced this skincare line in 2015, saying the partnership between him and the Los Angeles-based doctor “makes sense on every level.”
“It’s no secret that guys are increasingly embracing the benefits and value of grooming, as well as openly talking about it,” he said in a release. “I’ve always credited Dr. Lancer with my own efforts to maintain a youthful appearance, leveraging his skin-care regimen.”
He teased Polish’s official launch on Sunday before hosting E!‘s Oscars red carpet.
“Pregame ritual for 10+ years... can’t wait to launch @polishedformen with @drlancerrx!" he captioned the photo.
While this marks the former American Idol host’s first foray into men’s grooming, Seacrest has dabbled in the style world before. He currently has an apparel line called Ryan Seacrest Distinction being sold at Macy’s.
So will hair products be next? Only time will tell. Let’s just hope it doesn’t include an at-home box kit for frosted tips.
