The People’s Choice Awards may not be the flashiest night of awards season, but the celebs who attended certainly brought their A-games. But given that the fan favourite awards show is a relatively casual event (see: Justin Timberlake’s #ootn) compared to the Globes, the Grammys or the Oscars, many celebs opted for more effortless beauty looks – think tousled waves, fuss-free ballerina buns and glossy nude lips. If you’re looking for some beauty inspo that’s actually achievable, then Priyanka Chopra, Yara Shahidi and Kristen Bell are your girls.

But what is a red carpet event without a couple of A-list stars straying from the norm? Ruby Rose certainly made a stellar statement with her outfit choice, but with the addition of a textured pixie and a dark lip colour, she stood out on the red carpet. And then there was Jennifer Lopez, whose makeup reminded us why the J.Lo Glow will never go out of style.
