Watch Celeb Facialist Nichola Joss Give Us Her Signature ‘Inner Facial’
Nichola Joss is one of the most well-reputed celebrity skincare experts in the industry. She’s worked on everyone from Kate Moss to Gwyneth Paltrow and Gisele Bundchen, and was the woman responsible for Meghan Markle’s facial prior to Pippa Middleton’s wedding last month.
So when we found out Joss would be coming to Toronto to provide her signature “inner facial” at LAC + BEAUTY in Yorkville, we jumped at the chance to experience it for ourselves.
What exactly is it? It’s a bespoke facial (in other words, it’s customized and tailored to each specific client) that uses lymphatic massage techniques to naturally lift and sculpt the face. But what makes it even more unique is that Joss also massages the face from inside the mouth, hence the name “inner facial.” (You can skip to 22:11 in the video above to see that part).
And while Joss’ facial did leave assistant beauty editor Renée Tse a bit sore afterwards (“A good sore, like how you feel after a workout,” she says), Tse assures us she felt relaxed and glowy following the treatment.
