The Best Beauty Tips We Learned from Our Moms

Long before we looked to YouTube for makeup tutorials, we were getting beauty advice from our OG style icons: our mothers. It was our moms, after all, who taught us to wash (and moisturize!) our faces daily, showed us how to paint our nails, and demonstrated the best way to apply lipstick (admit it, you would watch her with childlike wonder as she pulled out her chic tube and proceeded to paint her lips in front of the mirror).
