Chanel announces Margot Robbie as the new face of No. 5

She gave us Naomi Lapaglia in The Wolf of Wall Street, Harley Quinn in Suicide Squad, Barbie in Barbie, and now, Margot Robbie has landed a new role as the face of Chanel’s iconic No. 5 fragrance.

“I think Chanel No.5 is one of the most iconic fragrances in the world. It’s incredible to be a part of it,” says Robbie—who has previously been the face of the French beauty brand’s Gabrielle Chanel Essence in 2019, and the lipstick Rouge Allure Velvet Nuit Blanche campaign in February of this year—in a press statement. “There’s such an impressive lineage of women who’ve been associated with the fragrance over the years. I am very honoured to be joining that long list of incredible talents.”

This timeless scent has been reintroduced to us this week in a romantic new campaign titled See You at 5, directed by Luca Guadagnino, in which the Australian actress stars opposite Jacob Elordi as the two ride the Californian coast.
