The slow disappearance of a holy grail product is a specific kind of dread. The return (and in this case, revamp) is an equally specific kind of relief. Haus Labs’ Atomic Shake Lip Lacquer are back with a serious upgrade. The cult-favourite lip product has been relaunched in all-new packaging alongside seven new shades, with Ruby being the only original colour to make the cut, bringing the total lineup to eight.
I got to try them all at the launch in NYC last week, and I haven’t been able to stop reaching for Ruby since. Three of the new shades (Sienna, Blush, and Petal) are sheer, and Sarah Tanno, Global Artistry Director of Haus Labs, wore Petal (a high-shine peachy-pinky shade) when I chatted with her about the relaunch. “There’s really nothing like the formula, which has stayed the exact same. It’s transfer-proof, long-wear and the shine is unreal,” she says.
Tanno’s take on the sheers? They’re for when you want to look like you tried without actually trying. And they’re not slacking on performance either, same transfer-proof wear, same up to eight hours of extreme shine as the boldest shades in the lineup. I can confirm, I wore Ruby all day and not only was the colour fully intact, but so was the shine. What I find unique about this long-wear product is the finish, a full-on high-gloss, light-catching lacquer that stays exactly where you put it. —J.M.
With Bieberchella now behind us (but never forgotten—after all, Justin Bieber became the highest-paid artist in Coachella history, his performance was the most googled in Coachella history and merch sales after just the first weekend almost tripled the previous record for two-weekend merch sales), it’s time to chat about the beauty products behind the pandemonium.
At the beginning of the month, just days before Justin was set to hit the stage for the first weekend of the festival, we got a look at Rhode x The Bieber, a new collab featuring Spotwear (hydrocolloid pimple stickers—a new category for the brand) and limited editions of Peptide Lip Treatment in Caramelized Banana and Peptide Eye Prep in Banana Peel. The pimple patches are available in five cute shapes (shroom, daisy, jelly bean, curve and bubble). While the shapes are exclusive to this limited edition collab, the patches are a permanent addition to the Rhode lineup and will be coming out in more designs in the future.
As for the under-eye patches, you’ve almost certainly seen them all over Instagram and TikTok, and the Peptide Lip Treatment in Caramelized Banana is an absolute, non-negotiable must for anyone who loves banana-flavoured candy. Trust us. —S.M.G.

The latest from Henry Rose, Ripe is the olfactory equivalent of biting into something you weren’t expecting to be that good. I say that as someone who isn’t really a fruity-floral kind of person—but this one hit different. I brought it to Tulum recently, and it was the perfect warm-weather scent; somehow it smelled even better in the heat.
Created by perfumer Patricia Choux, it opens with a rush of lychee and watermelon sorbet—juicy and bright without ever veering into cloying territory—before settling into soft florals of jasmine, peony and rose water. The dry-down is where it really earns its keep: warm musks and creamy sandalwood keep things grounded and skin-close. The result is a fruity floral that actually feels (and smells) sophisticated. —J.M.
The just-launched addition to Glow Recipe’s beloved watermelon family is the new Watermelon Milk Peptide Glow Cushion Cream. The silicone-free, peptide-powered moisturizer is formulated with dry, sensitive skin in mind. It delivers up to 100 hours of hydration thanks to a combo of 10+ peptides and watermelon milk (a deliciously moisturizing blend of watermelon extract and squalane), and strengthens the skin barrier in just ten minutes, thanks to its glycerin, panthenol and ceramide-loaded formula. Use it in the morning as a daytime moisturizer (it sits well under SPF and makeup) or slather on an extra-thick layer at night for mega-moisturization as you sleep. Another win from Glow Recipe. —S.M.G.

There is something deeply telling about a person’s soap. Not the hand soap by the kitchen sink; I’m talking about the one in the guest bathroom. The decorative one, the one that matches nothing and everything, the one that says I thought about this. I always clock it when I visit someone’s home.
Which is why the new Chanel Chance body collection feels like such a natural evolution. Three iconic fragrances—Chance Eau Splendide, Chance Eau Tendre and Chance eau Fraîche—are now available in three new formats: liquid soap, moisturizing lotion and body oil. Dispensed into the palms or applied directly to skin, they’re the kind of thing that turns a daily ritual into something indulgent.
As a gift, it’s a no-brainer. But honestly? Buy it for yourself. Put it in your own bathroom. —J.M.
I don’t know about you, but I’m in full spring cleaning mode—I’m talking house, yard, closet and car. And for the latter, I’m enlisting the help of Guerlain’s brand new car diffusers. The refillable (and gorgeous) device can be attached to your car’s air vent and filled with one of the brand’s six luxurious signature scent notes. The diffuser lasts for 10 to 25 continuous hours, and when it’s done, you simply purchase a refill to keep the luxe vibes going. Huge upgrade from my car’s current scent (Goldfish crackers and kids’ soccer cleats.) —S.M.G.

A good cleanser should do its job and get out of the way. No tight, stripped feeling, no residue, no drama. Pixi’s new SuperBerry Cleansing Whip understands the assignment. The texture alone is worth talking about: it starts as a bouncy, cloud-soft whip and transforms into a gentle foam upon contact with water, lifting away daily buildup without disturbing your skin’s moisture balance in the process. It’s like a reward. And yes, we mean that in the full Christoph Waltz meme sense of the phrase. You know the one.
The formula leans into antioxidant-heavy ingredients like blueberry, raspberry, strawberry and green tea to support the skin barrier rather than work against it. There are also red bean seeds in there, which act as a subtle exfoliant for a bit of extra refinement without any harshness. —J.M.

Cult favourite hair extensions brand Bellami has just added a new offering to its product lineup. Meet the Halo Pro Extensions Kit, the brand’s version of the super-popular halo extensions method, which involves a single strip of hair being placed around the top of your head—like a halo—where it securely sits in place thanks to an invisible wire. It’s a quick, low-effort (and skill), high-reward method of applying hair extensions that’s hard to beat. Now you can buy your favourite Bellami hair extensions in the Halo Pro kit, which comes in 25 shades and 4 lengths. —S.M.G.

Dior’s new hybrid mist sets makeup and floods your skin with moisture for 24 hours while doing it. The waterproof and smudge-proof mist is a triple threat—preparing, hydrating and refreshing the skin. It can be used before, during and after makeup application, as well as throughout the day to refresh your look. “The new Dior Backstage Airflash Mist is a solid support for long-lasting makeup results, hydrating and setting,” explains Peter Philips, Creative and Image Director for Dior Makeup. “[It’s] the all-access backstage product.” —S.M.G.
