The wait is almost over! The Prabal Gurung x M.A.C collaboration is set to launch November 26th across Canada and the U.S. The collection, which was inspired by the designer’s memories of his mother’s beauty compacts, has been two years in the making. Following two stand-up collaborations, including a Brooke Shields partnership and the most-recent Nasty Gal announcement, the Prabal Gurung x M.A.C collab is sure to be memorable.

The collection will feature a number of bold shades perfect for your holiday parties. Moving away from the sleek dark packaging the makeup company holds signature to, Gurung decided on a chunkier shape with chain-link patterning in a shiny gold finish, inspired by the likes of Damien Hirst and Nick Knight.

The designer, who has worked with M.A.C on his ready-to-wear collections since 2009, will have Juliana Shurig as the face of the campaign, with photography by Daniel Jackson and makeup by the legendary Val Garland. The makeup line will feature 14 products, including an array of eye shadow duo compacts, lip glosses, bold lipsticks, a bronzer and blush, as well as a compact powder brush and two eyeliner pencils.

Set to be a best-seller come the holidays, as any shiny gold object from this collection would make the perfect stocking stuffer for your mom/best friend/sister/self.
