Kat Von D and Green Day’s Billie Joe Armstrong (!!!) Are Collaborating
On—what else—eyeliner!
You know when you hear about a collab and it’s totally unexpected but expected at the same time? This is extremely one of those times. On Kat Von D’s Instagram story yesterday, the makeup artist teased an upcoming collaboration with none other than Green Day’s Billie Joe Armstrong.
The two have teamed up to create KVD’s newest black liquid eyeliner.
Here’s what we know so far: the black liner tube features Armstrong’s signature on the cap in gold. It’s called “Basket Case,” which is, of course, one of Green Day’s most popular hits.
No word as of yet regarding whether or not the formula is new, or if it’s a limited edition release of Kat Von D’s iconic Tattoo Liner.
The more we think about it, the more certain we are that this is about to become our go-to liquid liner. Who knows liner better than these two, anyway?
