June Mani of the Month: Celebrate Pride With Rainbow Stripes

Happy Pride, people! There are plenty of ways to get in on the celebrations this month, not the least of which involves painting your nails a rainbow of hues. (See here for more meaningful ways to support the LGBTQ+ community.) An ultra-simple way to get in the spirit at the nail salon (or at home) would be to opt for a different primary colour on every nail—but because we like a good challenge, Toronto’s Tips’ Melissa Forrest‘s version of a Pride-inspired manicure that has our vote this month.

To get the look at home, you’ll need a few key items: a good opaque white polish to use as a base, a rainbow of primary colours to layer overtop and some nail striping tape—not to mention a steady hand. (This innovative tool can help.) Here are some suggestions to get you started.
