Huda Beauty Announces Launch of Dual-Ended Eyeliner With 48-Hour Wear

Just take our money now.

Beauty guru Huda Kattan has just revealed the next product in her ever-expanding beauty Huda Beauty range — and it’s a doozy.

Taking to Instagram, Dubai-based Kattan introduced Huda Beauty Life Liner, a brand new eyeliner that might just be the eyeliner to end all eyeliners. Three years in the making, the matte black liner’s most impressive claim is a whopping 48 hours of wear. According to the brand’s website, the product is also “waterproof, smudge proof and completely fade proof.” To create the long-wear, water-free formula, the brand used high molecular weight silicones and silicone resins “to create an elastic-like texture and lightweight film”.

Another key feature of the intense black liner is that it’s dual-ended, meaning you can do pretty much every liner look you’ve ever dreamed of with just one product. One end of the product has a soft pencil, whilst the other is a liquid liner. The decision to include a liquid liner brush versus a felt tip was made because Kattan doesn’t think the latter “give the most intense pigment payoff.” After three months of meticulously hand-trimming millimetres off the brush design, Kattan says the design is now perfect allowing users to easily create a winged line or graphic look that’s neither thick nor clumpy.

On the pencil side (which is designed for a tightline approach), the brand fitted the finished product with a twist-up system that removes the need for a sharpener. This formula is creamier than the liquid liner and will last for eight hours. It is also less quick-drying than the liquid formulation meaning you’ll have more time to play around and get your look down before it sets.

Given the Life Liner’s intense wear pay-off, you’ll need to invest a little more time for removal. To help speed things up, the brand is dropping a Makeup Remover Balm at the same time. When combined with water, the cherry blossom extract-infused balm creates a milky formula that gently dissolves the liner. Coconut oil will also work, says the brand.

If you’re keen to get your hands on the new product, the brand says the Huda Beauty Life Liner ($34) will launch online at ShopHudaBeauty.com on September 12, online with its global stockists on September 18 and in-stores from September 25.
