The Right Way to Wear Blue Eyeshadow

Perhaps more than any other type of makeup, blue eyeshadow has a seriously bad reputation. It immediately brings to mind some less-than-ideal things: ‘80s makeup, frost and glitter up to your brow bone, and well, this. Overall, not good.

But over the last couple of years, we’ve seen blue eyeshadow pop up on the runways at fashion week a lot. Like, a lot. So by the time we saw this now-iconic photo of Shay Mitchell wearing blue liner with ease, we were sold.
