When the little box of Honey Dipp (honeydipp.com) samples arrived on my desk, the scent was so addictive, I couldn’t keep my nose from sneaking little sniffs every two seconds or so. The line of spa products has all the delicious usual suspects--a sugar scrub, citrus body butter and vanilla spice and coconut lime body lotions, for starters—but the real standout is the soaps.
Dubbed Honey Buns ($16, available on their site), the huge slabs of moisturizing soap come literally embedded with a natural sea sponge, which is great for exfoliating. But the smell, the smell’s the thing. The soaps have been sitting in a box on my desk, patiently waiting, wafting, while I was busy with Fashion Week. Each time a co-worker passed, she would stop, inhale and then engage me in a debate over which fragrance—Fresh Papaya, citrusy Island Burst and the floral Shea Mango—was the best. I’m going with the Jolly Rancher-esque Fresh Papaya, which has been more or less attached to my nose while I was writing this post.
