How to Get Shay Mitchell’s Slicked Down Beach Wave Hair

If you don’t know who Andrew Fitzsimons is, chances are you at least know his work. The celebrity hairstylist from Ireland has done everyone’s hair from Shay Mitchell to Ashley Graham and the entire Kardashian-Jenner clan, so it’s safe to say he’s a pretty big deal.

So when we got the chance to meet with the Alterna hair care ambassador, we jumped at the opportunity, challenging him to recreate Shay’s slicked down beach wave from the 2017 MTV Movie Awards in just 10, 15, 20 minutes (hey, our model, Meghan, has a LOT of hair, and we totally distracted him while he was creating the style, so he was allowed a bit of leeway).
