Even those with a steadfast and unwavering commitment to a signature scent can’t help but be drawn in by the pull of a new summer scent. The sun is shining, the beach is calling...and that rich, comforting perfume with notes of leather and smoky wood accord? It may not be as appealing as it was a few short months ago.
So if smelling like a warm fireplace while you walk along the sand with a popsicle dripping down your fingers isn’t exactly the vibe you’re after, look no further. We’ve rounded up the very best summer 2026 fragrance launches to keep you smelling and feeling easy-breezy all season long.

Meet Alta, a collection of ten new scents from Bottega Veneta. The collection is inspired by “Intrecciato duo,” the brand’s signature woven leather pattern. Just as intrecciato involves the weaving together of two strips of leather to become something new and spectacular, each fragrance in Alta pairs a single Italian ingredient with one from somewhere else in the world. For example, “Balliamo” combines delicious Italian white fig with American cedarwood, for a result that is pure summer bliss. Each fragrance is global, layered and the ultimate conversation starter.

One of the biggest fragrance trends of the year is the explosion of hair and body mists. The latest brand to get in on the action? Bella Hadid’s ‘Ôrəbella. The brand recently launched an alcohol-free, bi-phase water-based fragrance collection of three mists that still feature the brand’s signature shake-to-activate format, but with a lighter concentration of scent. “With these perfume mists, I wanted to create something expressive and free,” says Hadid. “They’re designed to move with you, to be sprayed generously, layered intuitively, and revisited throughout the day.”

A very important launch for me personally, this shimmering body oil has quickly become a non-negotiable in my own summer fragrance routine. As a solar fragrance fanatic, I can’t get enough of the scent that’s described as “the kiss of sun and skin” (swoon), with a blend of salty air, fresh coconut milk and bright bergamot. The formula also dries down beautifully (it’s not sticky or greasy at all) and leaves you with a subtly shimmering glow. Summer forever!!

The latest iteration of Dolce&Gabbana’s Light Blue Pour Homme is an eau de parfum created by Alberto Morillas. It opens with a bright citrus note via Calabrian yellow mandarin, before the heart of the scent shows its warm salty notes from seawater cypress. Finally, the scent dries down to reveal base notes of grounding cedarwood.

The latest from Jean Paul Gaultier is a fresh floral perfume with aquatic notes blended with peony and vanilla. This refreshingly confident scent is sure to find its way into your summer scent wardrobe.

Guerlain’s Les Eaux collection is made up of five delicate white-musk fragrances that are inspired by the scent of a comforting fabric. There’s Eau de Cashmere, Eau de Lingerie, Eau de Coton, Eau de Popeline, and Eau de Tulle—and you’ll want to envelop yourself in them all. But for summer, may we suggest Eau de Coton, a fresh, clean blend inspired by sun-dried cotton? Its formula features notes of almond blossom, orange blossom and musk.
