The Beauty Products We’ll Be Using All Month Long

FASHION‘s beauty team is made up of Beauty Director Lesa Hannah and Beauty Editor Suzie Michael. Each month, they’ll be discussing their favourite new products (whether they’re new-new or just new to them).

Etat Libre d’Orange I Am Trash

There is already an exorbitant amount of waste in the beauty world, from packaging right down to the tissue paper that brands feel must accompany a bag with product samples (FWIW, it doesn’t). That’s why I love the concept behind this fragrance so much; it features six ingredients that have been upcycled, such as apple oil (from fruit waste in the juice industry), rose neoabsolute (distilled a second time from exhausted rose petals) and cedarwood atlas neoabsolute (a second distillation from wood chips). Even more impressive, the result smells nothing like garbage. In fact, it smells amazing. —L.H

L’Oréal Paris x Camila Cabello Lip Dew

I’ve used at least three products from Camila Cabello’s Havana collection with L’Oréal Paris every single day since it arrived on my desk a few weeks ago, and I’m already dreading the day I run out of the limited edition products. But by far, my favourite in the collection is the Lip Dew in “Desnudo.” It’s the perfect nude gloss, it’s not sticky and it smells like…actually, I haven’t been able to put my finger on the scent yet. Cotton candy? Coconut? Fruit punch? I don’t really know. All I know is that it hasn’t left my purse. The shimmery eyeshadows and liquid bronzer deserve an honourable mention, too. —S.M
