The Beauty Products We’ll Be Using All Month
FASHION‘s beauty team is made up of Beauty Director Lesa Hannah, Associate Beauty Editor Suzie Michael, and Beauty Writer Madelyn Chung. Each month, they’ll be discussing their favourite new products (whether they’re new-new or just new to them).
Meow Meow Tweet Underarm Primer
LH: I’d never heard of this concept before but as someone who believes rotating natural deodorants is the key to keeping them working, anything that purports to aid in that goal is welcomed. This Meow Meow Tweet Underarm Primer ($22) re-balances the pH of your pits as well as keeps them moisturized which is apparently necessary? (Who knew?) And some days, I forget to apply deodorant on top and it STILL works.
Drunk Elephant Lippe Balm
SM: The super buzzy (and rightfully so) skincare brand makes exactly one lip product, and it just so happens to be amazing. I didn’t realize the Lippe Balm ($22) was part of their lineup until I was at a Drunk Elephant event last month, and it’s since become a bedside table staple for me. Adorable size and packaging aside, it’s made with a blend of avocado, marula and cranberry oils, features green tea leaf and Vitamin C for antioxidant benefits, is fragrance-free, and legit leaves my lips soft from bedtime until I wake up the next morning.
Omorovicza Rejuvenating Night Cream
MC: I’ve only recently learned about Omorvicza, but I’ve quickly fallen head over heels with the Hungarian skincare brand. Its most famous product is the mineral-rich Thermal Cleansing Balm (which I, like everyone else, am kind of obsessed with), but another offering I really love is the Rejuvenating Night Cream. I’ve been using it for the past few months, and I swear my skin has transformed because of it. This luxurious cream is extremely hydrating and I wake up with more plump and healthier-looking (and feeling!) skin. It’s so effective, I actually see a difference the next morning if I don’t use it. It does cost a pretty penny ($295), but I’m about ¾ of the way through the pot, and that’s after four months of use (a little goes a long way). You can bet I’ll be saving up to buy another jar because I truly can’t live without it.
