I received a bottle of this years ago, back when it came in a tiny brown bottle. It’s likely the reason I didn’t give it a fair chance, even though I’d heard great things about it (there’s a reason it’s a best seller), as it wasn’t that easy to dispense. But it got reformulated last year and now comes in a pump and I haven’t stopped wearing it since founder JoAnn Fowler gave me a bottle when she was recently in town. As a non-foundation wearer, I love it because it has a super clean ingredient list, and I especially love that it has no silicones. It’s not full coverage, which is perfect for me since I don’t like to see foundation visible on the skin. It just cancels out redness around my nose and chin and is totally imperceptible. —L.H
I’ve never considered myself a “fragrance person”—I wear perfume most days, but I don’t really experiment a ton with scents. Once I find something I like, it becomes my signature scent for...a long time. Clean Reserve Amber Saffron has been my go-to for the last couple of years. Recently, however, I was at a preview checking out the new Clean Reserve fragrance and before I smelled it, I overheard someone say that it was “inspired by the essence of Mediterranean citrus breezes and deep blue sea” and I instantly knew it was going to be The One. With notes of mandarin, neroli, amber, it legit smells like vacationing along the mediterranean. I don’t know about you, but if I’m going to make any scent my new signature, it’s going to be that. —S.M
