HUGE. Audacious. Full Fat Lashes. Mascaras have never failed to be dramatic with their names, but they often fail to...work. But this fall, our go-to beauty product is out to impress. Rather than catching our eye with bold packaging and massive promises, and then leaving our lashes looking anything but eye-catching, these three new Fall 2015 mascaras are a breath of fresh air. (Read: we tested out a bunch of mascaras and these three were the most memorable, dramatic and felt new.)
ICYMI, eyelashes have been a focal point on the runway for a couple of seasons now, and luckily for us, we’ve been given products that make it easy to talk about them in a way that feels modern. Clumpy, coloured and glitter-tipped lashes have made appearances that we’re welcoming with wide-open arms (and eyes).
See our favourite Fall 2015 mascara releases (okay fine, Charlotte Tilbury‘s has been out since June but it’s become a permanent fixture in our makeup kits).

NARS Audacious Mascara, ($36, sephora.com) Okay look, this is coming from a mascara freak who does not know any limits, and I’m telling you this one is not for the faint of heart. With over 200 rubberized bristles, Audacious separates and lengthens like crazy. The formula is almost silky and doesn’t dry out all day long, making it super easy to build up and take your lashes from day to night. Really, it’s like conditioner for your lashes (your suddenly insanely long lashes). That being said, straight-lashed girls, you’ll definitely need a lash curler (if you don’t usually use one). Because the lengthening formula is so intense, long, straight lashes definitely look longer, but their straightness is um, more obvious than ever.
