Victoria’s Secret Created a Perfume That Smells Like a Boyfriend Tee
We talked to Elsa Hosk about it.
Close your eyes and think about Victoria’s Secret perfumes. Any of them, really. What’s the first thing that comes to mind? Chances are, it’s words like “sweet,” “sugary” and “sticky.” Which is great! But that fragrance profile isn’t exactly everyone’s jam. Which is why the brand’s newest fragrance, Love, is such a welcome surprise. The notes include fresh juniper and apricot blush, and yes, one that’s literally called “boyfriend tee.”

Can you describe the woman who wears this fragrance? The woman who wears Love is flirty, fun and romantic. She’s either in love or excited to be in love.
If you could bottle up one smell and turn it into a perfume, what would it be? The scent of the air on an island in Sweden. It smells so amazing and fresh.
What’s your first fragrance memory? Buying Angel from Victoria’s Secret. I think I was about fifteen years old and it was my first fragrance purchase!
You were on FASHION‘s cover back in 2015. How has your life changed since then? My life has changed so much…for the better, of course! I am so grateful for the journey and the friendships I’ve made at Victoria’s Secret.
The campaign’s slogan is “Love made me do it.” What’s the craziest thing love has made you do? I used to never make the first move. But when I met my boyfriend, I wanted to make the first move all the time like texting him first, etc. It was out of my comfort zone but I knew he was so special!
