These are the Most Creative Lipstick Swatches You’ll Ever See

If you’re a beauty junkie, you know makeup swatches are life. We mean, how else are you going to see what Koko K really looks like, outside of the packaging?

So you can imagine how excited we got when we learned of beauty blogger Daisy Weigt who takes swatches to the next level, creating works of art on her arms using makeup.

The 32-year-old Idaho-based professional cosmetologist and self-professed “makeup nerd” paints everything from cartoon characters to beauty logos using some of her 1,000 (!!!) liquid lipsticks and sometimes eyeshadows. She tells Teen Vogue she was inspired to do these types of swatches because she “always grew up wanting to be different from everyone else, to have [her] own unique style.”

And truth be told, we can’t get enough of Weigt’s works of art, as they show us the colour payoff of our fave beauty products in a fun, new way.
