Chanel’s Camélia Futura Collection has arrived

All the New Beauty Launches the FASHION Team Loved This Month

Gleaning inspiration from Gabrielle Chanel’s favourite flower, the elegant camellia bloom, Chanel has unveiled its Camélia Futura Collection. Lending itself to fresh springtime glam, metallic accents and shimmery finishes are spread across this new selection of pigment-packed eyeshadows, eye pens and blushes, pearlescent lipsticks, and high-shine nail varnishes. At the range’s core lies the exclusive Fluide Eliumineur, an illuminating fluid formulated to enhance the cheekbones, nose and chin with iridescent light.

“There is something very soft and gentle about the camellia’s aesthetic… which is particularly surprising when you know that it is actually a very hardy plant that adapts and manages to flower even in extreme conditions. This duality is the basis for the collection, marrying soft, romantic qualities with colder, more futuristic and modern codes,” shares Cécile Paravina, Chanel Global Creative Makeup Partner, in a press statement.

Maison Margiela drops a summery new fragrance

All the New Beauty Launches the FASHION Team Loved This Month

From Paris and Beverly Hills to Brooklyn and Montreal, Maison Margiela has taken us all around the world through scent. Its newest Replica fragrance, Never-ending Summer, is evocative of the seaside aromas of the Amalfi Coast. Opening up with an Italian spritz accord trailed by bitter orange and vetiver in the dry down, this citrusy scent is a must-shop for those who gravitate toward fresh, fruity perfumes during the warmer months. If Euro summers could be defined by one scent, we’re certain this would be it.
