Anya Taylor-Joy just dropped a masterclass in modern fairytale glam at the TIFF premiere of her new flick Sacrifice. Forget minimalist red carpet dressing—Taylor-Joy showed up in a custom baby-blue satin Dior gown (giving serious Cinderella vibes) that looked like it was plucked straight from a dreamscape. Designed under Jonathan Anderson’s fresh reign at the French maison, the sleeveless, high-neck number exploded into a voluminous skirt stitched with basket-weave folds. Couture, but make it architectural.
And because no fairy tale is complete without a little sparkle, Taylor-Joy stacked on Tiffany & Co. treasures: a platinum necklace set with aquamarines, an archival bracelet, and a diamond ring.

The beauty? Equally ethereal. Los Angeles–based makeup artist Georgie Eisdell described the mood as “Sculptural elegance for tonight’s look. I wanted the makeup to mirror the icy blue silk of the Dior gown—luminous skin with a satin finish, softly defined eyes, and a polished nude lip to let the dress and Tiffany & Co. jeweled neckline take centre stage.”

To achieve that vision, she began with Dior Capture skincare to lay the groundwork for Taylor-Joy’s porcelain-perfect complexion. Forever Hydra Nude was buffed in and sculpted with the brand’s contour stick, while a double hit of blush—rosy and toffee—kept things flushed and fresh. Taupe shadow, razor-sharp liner, and lashings of Overvolume mascara framed her gaze, and nude lips (lined in Ribbon, glossed in Confident) ensured the focus stayed on her gown’s dramatic silhouette.
