It’s awards season and that means we’re constantly on the lookout for fun, new beauty inspo on the red carpet. The 2025 Grammy Awards last night were a bronzed, glowing affair, as celebrity makeup artists and hairstylists perfected our favourite stars’ beauty looks. From Cynthia Erivo’s chocolate tonal look to Sabrina Carpenter’s signature flushed cheeks, we present you with the exact beauty products used by their A-list glam teams so you, too, can create a red carpet-worthy face (and hair?) card this season.
For last night’s Grammy Awards, makeup artist Moani Lee used Charlotte Tilbury products to achieve Kacey Musgraves’ bronzed, glowing look. “Kacey opted for a stunning Ralph Lauren golden skirt paired with a cool-girl tank, which inspired me to draw from the heritage of the American west,” says Lee. “We opted for lots of dusty browns, golden bronze hues, and sun-kissed elements, giving a gentle nod to red carpet sophistication but with a flair that is signature Kacey – a girl who can ride a horse until dusk but loves to lean into the more glamorous elements of polished beauty.” The hero products? The iconic Pillow Talk lipstick and the new Hollywood Contour Wand in Medium.
Celebrity makeup artist Amber Dreadon used Ilia Beauty products, including the Clean Line Liquid Liner, to create Clairo’s look last night. Drawing inspiration from iconic American model Bettie Page, Dreadon kept the retro vibe fresh and modern with “subtle, luminous textures and a winged eye that is more 90-degree angle than a classic retro wing might be.” To complete the look, she finished with the Lip Sketch Hydrating Crayon, enhancing both the softness and definition of the nostalgic aesthetic.
A direct contrast to the country singer’s voluminous Dolly Parton-inspired hair from last year’s Grammys, hairstylist Bob Recine opted for a more edgy and modern look on the singer last night. Using Nexxus products (that are all under $20!) to achieve this long shiny hairstyle with layers, Recine used four products from the brand, starting with the Prep & Protect Heat Defense Spray on wet hair, then the XXL Volume Medium Hold Hairspray after a blow-dry, followed by the Epic Shine Anti-Humidity Spray. To finish the look, Repair & Nourish Ultra Lightweight Hair Oil gave Cyrus a ‘do that was light and airy.
Charlotte Tilbury products made another appearance on the red carpet last night. Celebrity makeup artist Deanna Paley used the brand’s Hollywood Flawless Filter to smooth and illuminate SZA’s complexion. Paley also used the Airbrush Flawless Setting Powder to blur lines and imperfections, without worrying about camera flashback as it “photographs flawlessly on the red carpet,” she explains.
Hairstylist Bobby Elliot used Tangle Teezer and Briogeo products to create Gracie Abrams’ sleek, shiny bob. The Ultimate Detangler prepped her hair for heat, while Briogeo products enhanced the shine for a flawless finish. The simple look was perfectly on brand with Abrams’ effortless vibe, complementing her ethereal Chanel dress and veil.
Cynthia Erivo landed on the idea for her chocolate tonal look just two hours before the show. Celebrity makeup artist Joanna Simkin used e.l.f Cosmetics and e.l.f Skin products to achieve Erivo’s gorgeous monochromatic look. “Tonight’s look was inspired entirely by Cynthia,” says Simkin. “I loved that it came together as a last minute idea that worked so well.” Simkin used the TikTok viral Soft Glam Satin Foundation to start the makeup and the Flow Reviver Lip Oil to finish off Erivo’s tonal look.
Wondering how to achieve Sabrina Carpenter’s signature flushed cheeks? Celebrity makeup artist Carolina Gonzalez amped up the singer’s blush game (yes, even more than usual) by using a combo of Prada Beauty and Armani Beauty products. On the list? The Armani Beauty Luminous Silk Cheek Tint in shade 53, and the always iconic Luminious Silk Foundation in shades 5.1 and 5.9.
“Effortless, sultry and undeniably cool” are words celebrity makeup artist Melissa Hernandez used to describe Olivia Rodrigo’s all-Lancôme look. With a nod to the ‘90s with thin eyebrows and a brown lip, Hernandez used L’Absolu Rouge Intimatte Lipstick in 215 First Kiss on the singer. This rosy shade enhances Rodrigo’s natural lip tone with its soft brown undertone and matte finish. The Idôle Liner also adds structure to her face, “creating a look that feels both timeless and of-the-moment.”
Behind Ballerini’s glow is celebrity makeup artist Kelsey Deenihan, who used St. Tropez’s essential tanning products. To achieve her sculpted and natural makeup look, Deenihan used CoverGirl products to enhance Ballerini’s natural tones and face structure, like the brand’s Trublend Skin Enhancer Balm Contour Stick to define the singer’s cheeks and temples, giving her a sculpted finish.
Celebrity hairstylist Vernon Francois showcased Willow Smith’s natural hair texture last night in a chic middle-part afro. The look exuded “effortless elegance while embracing the natural volume and texture of her hair,” says Francois. To achieve it, he used Olaplex Nº.7 Bonding Oil to protect and nourish the hair, then Nº.9 Bond Protector Nourishing Hair Serum, to enhance softness and movement, before finally going back to Nº.7 Bonding Oil for final touches.
Bigger is better when it comes to Chappell Roan’s hair, and hairstylist Dom Forletta played that up using Amika products to enhance her natural texture. Forletta added shine, softness, and protection while boosting volume with Amika’s Un.Done Volume and Matte Texture Spray, giving her hair a matte finish for added texture and fullness. “It made her stand out on the red carpet,” says Forletta.
