It’s been a few days since the Golden Globes, and we can’t seem to get Jennifer Lopez‘s look out of our heads. She looked, in every respect, her usual self: glowing, bronzed skin, bold smoky eye and glossy nude lips. What was so different? After doing some extensive research (translation: spending a very long time on her Instagram page), it hit us---her highlights were more defined than ever. Of course, Lopez always has golden streaks in her hair, but we haven’t seen them so chunky and separated in years. In fact, it’s a look that we often consider a beauty faux pas, but we were totally into it on Sunday night.

This got us feeling a bit nostalgic for the days of blonde highlights and as it turns out, we don’t have to search too far to relive the look. Some celebs like Jennifer Aniston have made highlights a part of their signature style, while others like Kate Mara and Angelina Jolie experiment with blonde and caramel highlights on and off.
