By now, surely you’ve seen the video for Cardi B‘s latest single, “Bartier Cardi,” released earlier this week. The second single off her upcoming super-hyped debut album, Invasion of Privacy, which finally comes out tomorrow (!!!), the “Bartier Cardi” video features Cardi dressed in vintage Dior and plenty of diamonds, and ultra-glam hair and makeup to match.
With hair by Tokyo Stylez and makeup by Erika La Pearl, the glam factor isn’t surprising. In fact, we’ve come to expect it—Tokyo is a regular member of Kylie Jenner’s glam team, and even did the hair for the Yeezy Season 6 campaign.
In an interview with Refinery 29, La Pearl dished on Cardi’s “Bartier Cardi” makeup, and we were pleasantly surprised to learn that with the exception of a Chanel lipstick and a Marc Jacobs illuminator, the makeup on set was all drugstore.
