Biossance, the Berkeley, CA-born, squalane-based skincare brand who can’t keep their eye gel in stock has parked themselves on the streets of Toronto with their Clean Beauty Bus on King St. W. just west of Spadina and will be there until Friday, and then moving to the Distillery District for the weekend. Since the brand has only been in Canada since February, they’re spreading the word about who they are.
Onboard, you’ll find a wall of opaque white bottles with the names of questionable ingredients in personal care products opposite a wall of their Squalane Oil to illustrate the company’s transparency about their ingredient list and how high their standards are. Their full product line is on display, so they’ll be doing demos and showcasing some of their newer additions like their Squalane + Vitamin C Rose Oil and Squalane + Phyto-Retinol Serum and mini samples will be handed out. While you can’t purchase any of the skincare, they’ll be giving away vouchers for gifts with purchase at Sephora, where they’re the first and only EWG-verified brand stocked.
