Bella Thorne Launched a Makeup Line...and It Hasn’t Been Received Well So Far

You can now add Bella Thorne to the long list of celebrities who’ve come out with a cosmetics line in the last year. The former Disney channel star came out with a makeup line, called Filthy Fangs (v. on brand considering her grunge-fuelled aesthetic) this past weekend. The brand bears two eyeshadow palettes, and Thorne claims they’ve sold out on the first day. But not everyone is ecstatic with the products.

Several fans took to social media to express discontent with the steep pricing of the palettes, which each come with nine shadows. There’s the South Beach Palette for $60, and the Ocean Drive Palette for $50. Both range in bright, glittery shades from turquoise and emerald green to sparkly navy and ruby.

After Thorne posted the swatches of the palette on Instagram, several fans offered positive feedback but others questioned the quality in relation to high price point.

Others suggested that Bella might be ripping off the indie makeup brand Juvia’s Place as the inspiration for Filthy Fangs’ packaging and style.

So.. is Filthy Fangs going to make Bella the next Kylie Jenner? Or is it just a well-done knockoff? Thorne has not addressed the negative feedback so far.
