Afternoon beauty fix: Keep toes looking polished without the expensive pedicure

As a Pilates instructor, what can I do to keep my feet looking presentable without shelling out for regular pedicures?
The average professional would balk at the prospect of wearing bare feet to work, so we feel for you, we really do. That said, you likely have a strong core (enviable) and can find inner peace in knowing that your feet will look fine, so long as you paint your nails with a creamy, neutral hue. Choosing red or violet will make growth obvious almost immediately post-pedicure, but a bare shade will blend in well as your natural nail grows longer. Pick a shade that is opaque—not pearlescent—to apply after soaking your feet in warm water and sloughing off dead skin with a pumice. Our current bare-to-wear is So Many Clows, So Little Time by OPI ($11, opi.com), because it’s creamy, rich, and on-trend for fall’s nude nail craze.
