I live and die by hairspray, but how can I do without the cloud of scent that accompanies it? It’s so common to hear people complain about the strong smell of hairspray that it’s hard to believe fragrance-free hairspray isn’t more common. Long-time cult favourite Elnett now offers an unscented version ($15, at drugstores) for those who suffer from seasonal allergies or, perhaps, a natural aversion to ’80s-era cosmetic smells. Not to worry: It functions in the same way as the original, only now you can whip you hair back and forth and nobody will sneeze.
