Afternoon beauty fix: A duo application of blush deserves this duo brush

I’m doing my own makeup for my wedding day and the only thing I’m worried about is longevity—any tips to help to make it stay? It’s fairly easy to carry mascara and lipstick in your handbag for touchups following joyful tears, but foundation and blush are larger in size and more complicated to re-apply. Your cheeks will be a hot zone for kisses on your special day, so we think it’s best to focus your efforts there during the initial application. If you’ve spent some time contemplating cream or powder blush, deliberate no further and invest in both. Layering two textures—cream then powder—ensures much longer staying power, especially if you do it with the right brush. We’re fans of the cream/powder brush duo found in the Joe Fresh brush set ($24, joefresh.com). Use it to dust bronzer on your cheekbones, then flip to brighten your apples with a creamy candy pink. Oh, and congratulations!
