It’s clear that former Presidential candidate Hillary Clinton is gradually transforming from a political insider and into an American folk hero. Clinton chose the Professional BusinessWomen of California Conference for her first speaking engagement since the fall election and took the opportunity to speak out on powerful topics such as sexism and racism against women.
Clinton brought attention to Maxine Waters, the California politician whose hairstyle was mocked by Bill O’Reilly. She also talked about White House reporter April Ryan, who was told to “not shake” her head, by beleaguered press secretary Sean Spicer.

This reminds me of a doctor’s appointment I had recently, never mind my days spent in elementary school.
If Clinton seems her pre-election (perhaps pre-First Lady) passionate self, gone were the soft coloured pantsuits that earned her the love of #pantsuitnation. Clinton wore a black leather jacket with a dark floral top and black pants. It was a strong and somber look that spoke badass not politics.
I’m sorry but it reminded me of an iconic moment in rock and roll when (no, I wasn’t alive yet) Elvis Presley embarked on his ‘68 Comeback Special in a black leather pantsuit. There you have it, Hillary is the Queen.
