Can we officially refer to 2014 as the Year of the Collab yet? The concept of teaming up is not just for sports teams anymore, because the best designers, brands and retailers are no strangers to the fact that two is definitely better than one. Some memorable ones from this past year include the Rocky Horror Show x M.A.C collection, Vans x Star Wars, Band of Outsiders x Starbucks, as well as the Altuzarra x Target collection. We also witnessed a number of partnerships that warmed our hearts, such as Marc Jacobs enlisting the help of his longtime friend Sofia Coppola to produce the campaign for the launch of Daisy Dream.

While 2014 was full of mind-blowing collaborations, we’re also looking forward to what the coming year has in store for us. From the likes of Beyoncé‘s athleisure line for Topshop (set to release Fall 2015), to the Christopher Kane x Nars collection (coming May 2015), it’s safe to say that we’ll still have plenty to line up for.

While we impatiently wait for the next batch of partnerships, we narrowed down a list of the best designer collaborations of 2014, in both beauty and fashion. So take a peek, and tell us which collab is your favourite!
