It’s hard to believe there was ever a time before cell phones. I got my first one, a baby blue Nokia, in high school and lived for every phone call and message. Back then, texting was a pain (remember clicking each number 3 times to get to the letter you needed?), there were no apps or emojis, and Facebook was barely a twinkle in Mark Zuckerberg’s eye. Sounds like the dark ages, but it was cutting edge back then.

Now that our cell phones are practically appendages, we’re barely phased by the tech in our pockets. It’s a testament to how far they’ve come, including the Apple iPhone, which celebrates it’s 10th anniversary today.
