TIFF 2014: Brian Wilson gives off some seriously good vibes at Grey Goose Soho House (and Jessica Chastain was there too!)

After Saturday night‘s rip-roarious series of parties, Sunday night’s Soho House fêtes for Miss Julie and Love & Mercy felt positively relaxing. It could have also been the good vibrations given off by legendary Beach Boy and Love & Mercy subject Brian Wilson, who showed up unexpectedly in support of the film’s TIFF 2014 debut. Holding court for most of the night on a couch by the fireplace, the icon chatted happily with the film’s stars Elizabeth Banks, John Cusack and Paul Dano. Dano, who plays Wilson in the film, looked particularly dashing alongside his girlfriend (and newfound Toronto devout) Zoe Kazan.
Meanwhile upstairs, Jessica Chastain (and her Dior) was her usual amiable and impossibly gorgeous self as she snacked on apps and posed for photos with the film’s director Liv Ullman.
