The Final Exit: Jill

The judges didn’t think Vancouver’s Jill Pukesh really wanted to be on the show, and from what she tells us, it seems they were right.

Which part of this experience was the most fun? Which was the most stressful?

“The most fun part was definitely meeting all the girls and interacting with them. I’d only been hanging out with them for two weeks but I felt like I’ve known them for so long. I think our personalities all just really connected and I really hope I do get some good long-term friendships out of this. Maryam lives in Vancouver and I’m planning on hanging out with her. I loved a lot of the girls there.

“The most stressful was not getting enough sleep because my brain needs sleep. Having to go to sleep at 3:30 and get up at 6:00 was difficult for me and it definitely added to my exhaustion, stress levels and just energy in general.”

Anything you wish you could do over?

“Not really. I gave it my all to the end. I kind of walked into it saying, ‘Let’s see how this goes.’ I wasn’t going to force myself to love it so when I did get there and started to realize okay, maybe this isn’t as amazing as I thought it would’ve been… I don’t regret anything and I don’t think I would’ve wanted to do anything over, but it was an experience for sure.”

Do you think it was your turn to go? If not, who should have gone?

“That’s a tough question. The judges say, ‘You don’t have the passion’ and I don’t think it’s very fair for me to be there if I’m not in it 100 per cent, so yeah, it probably was my time to go. All those girls are so beautiful and I think they do want it way more than I do. I’m kind of happy to just get home and relax.”

Are you still planning to pursue a career in modeling?

“Like I said to Jay, we’ll see. I’m not saying no and I’m not saying yes. I did some hair modeling for a friend and I think that’s the kind of modeling that could be really fun. I’m not saying that the photo shoots weren’t a blast, but they were really strenuous. I don’t know if I can do that every day, so I don’t know if I’d really want to pursue a career the intense way that Kate Moss travels around the world all the time. It’s a really stressful lifestyle and I’m so carefree that I don’t know if it would really suit me.”
