But with the debut of the Home & Accessories collection, Tiffany & Co. is looking to grow beyond the grand reveal and into our everyday surroundings. In fact the concept behind these enhanced home items is that beautiful things should not be limited to special occasions. Think of it as Tiffany’s spin on modern life, while offering alluring items that improve our surroundings. According to Reed Krakoff, Tiffany & Co.’s chief artistic officer, the uniqueness of the collection incorporates “the best quality, craftsmanship and design with a level of functionality that allows you to use these things every day.”
Each piece creatively blends everyday with the finest of materials. Items like cups, pens and a pencil sharpener have been hand-crafted in sterling silver by Tiffany & Co. artisans, while bold patterns and modern colour-blocking put a twist on the iconic Tiffany Blue. Its a throwback to the brand’s history when the unconventional use of found objects to display Tiffany jewels was a signature of the legendary window designer, Gene Moore.
How convenient that Tiffany & Co. just announced it would unveil pop-up shops at five Holt Renfrew locations in Canada including: Bloor Street, Yorkdale, Square One, Vancouver Pacific Center, and Calgary. Just in time for the holiday season.
