The latest baffling news from Markle Corner doesn’t involve a lengthy interview about how his daughter and her new family have let him down. It’s, uh, pretty far afield. Apparently, he’s launching a clothing line.
Or is he?
Yesterday, Meghan’s half-sister Samantha announced via a tweet from her private Twitter account: “So excited about my father’s new #clothing line for men! Will keep you posted!” Page Six posted a screengrab of the tweet for all of us (fortunate) individuals who don’t have access to her feed.
And then just a day later, she followed up with this: “I joked about my father #thomasmarkle starting a new #clothing line, and it went VIRAL LMAO. Just an example of the #media running with a story that they didn’t verify at all. I did this to prove that the media prints anything! Stop being gullible, peeps!”
Sure, okay. You can go on pretending that you did this to own the media, instead of just trying to direct some attention back to yourself, and we can pretend that we were actually looking forward to seeing a Thomas Markle-approved fashion line.
