Meghan Markle Looks Like a Sexy Detective in Her Latest Outfit
Just yesterday, we made the connection that Melania Trump looked suspiciously similar to fictional international criminal mastermind Carmen Sandiego while welcoming the French Prime Minister to the White House. Today, Meghan Markle appears to be taking style cues from the First Lady by stepping out in an oversize grey trench coat and wide-brimmed black hat that simply screams ‘International Woman of Mystery.’
Her Smythe coat from the label’s F/W 2018 collection – props for shouting out Canadian designers once again – appears to have not two but FOUR pockets, which is perfect for stashing magnifying glasses, flashlights and other totally necessary detective supplies. The coat’s strong shoulders and washed grey colour make her look a bit like Inspector Gadget, if he wasn’t a bumbling cartoon with a flashlight sprouting from his hat, but rather an extremely competent humanitarian actress about to marry the foxiest member of the British Royal family.
Markle has already solved the greatest mystery of all – how to marry into the Royal Family – so it only makes sense that she’s now dressing like it.
