The Best Red Carpet Looks from the 2019 Governors Awards
These are the looks that had the office talking today.
Last night, some of the most stylish stars in Hollywood gathered to celebrate the 2019 Governors Awards.
Held each year by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, the ceremony honours film’s top talent by awarding honourary Oscars to those helping shape the industry. This year’s honourees included Geena Davis, David Lynch, Wes Studi and Lina Wertmuller.
And as with any good Hollywood awards ceremony, there were plenty of chic red carpet outfits that caught our eye, too. Jennifer Lopez looked like a real-life Oscar in a stunning gold gown from Lebanese designer Reem Acra, Dakota Johnson rocked a cool two-piece from Brandon Maxwell, Lupita Nyong’o opted for a floral-embellished gown from Givenchy, former FASHION cover star Beanie Feldstein glistened in a sequinned midi and Saoirse Ronan chose an edgy all-in-one checked jumpsuit from Emilia Wickstead for the festivities.
